2002 Performer Blue and an 18.5 mbh
« on: June 24, 2015, 06:08:05 AM »
My two new pals. The SSP came from the original owner. Very nice overall. Lid was dropped (he blamed it on the kids) and has a little rim damage. The gas works great and he thinks the tank is half full. The cover is in tremendous shape due to rarely being used because the grill was always garaged. It's amazingly flexible and goes on/off w/ ease. No shrinkage.  ;)

On the 18.5, one bowl vent is missing, another is off, and the 3rd won't move (yet). Overall it's in pretty good shape. The sockets and grate holders are solid. The charcoal grate needs a flattening and I have a Target-clearance hinged food grate for it. The lid fits fine (even though it's slightly off in one pic). The previous owner had it for a couple of weeks. I guess he flipped it for $10?

What stock SSP colors do we know of other than Black, Green, Red, Blue, and Gray? How many of these glorious things am I looking for?!  ;D

Like the SSP blue kettle.  Both kettles look great.  Like the 18.5 gray that is something a little different.  Kinda fond of the blue since all my normal grilling kettles are blue.
Platinum Performer Kettle (In Blue), OTG (In Blue)
Genesis Gasser (In Blue), Smokey Joe (Uline Lime)
Looking to buy (18.5 blue or brownie and blue lantern)

thanks...Stupid me, I've read that page before and I appreciate all the work involved to produce it.

So 7 colors is final? Crap! I mean cool, only 4 more to go. The Reds, Plum, and Grey. My only chance at a Red was 3 yrs ago but I was out of town and didn't see the ad. $35 and 20 mins away. That miss sucked.  :D
