Not the CnT ring that @peaspurple pulled at a thrift store, but I was pretty stoked to find this hiding behind some silverware. (And yes I scoured the rest of the store for a NIB kettle...)

I only use kettles with lid bales.

It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

That is awesome!! I need to go on an Ace shopping search and see if I can find some of these. I want to secure at least 3 of them to save for my old MasterTouches that have not been replaced yet just for the future!!

Congrats on the find!!

Srsly. My next stop was the metal scrapyard, where they gave me $60 for my old catalytic converter. Plus a $15 Chipotle gift card. I'd better check CL before I buy that lottery ticket!

An exciting find, for sure.  I found a NIB side-kick table hidden in an old hardware store once.  It was a thrill.  I look for crusty old stores everywhere I go now.

I can sort understand that for all the platinum or whatever is in the cat converter but the restaurant gift card cracks me up.

Yeah, my 4-year-old daughter was taken aback by the whole scrapyard experience, especially the little room where they pay you from an ATM machine... "Daddy, this place smells like garbage."  Neither one of us was too eager to dig into a burrito right then.
