Cheapest half chickens ever!
« on: June 07, 2015, 05:11:17 PM »
How could I say no? Pre seasoned and then I covered it with 2 different ones of mine. 275-300 with greasy apricot wood...will try and remember plated pics.

I bought 4 halves

Seasoned:

Baskets each side, wood under hot coals in addition to the one you see

This smells so good smoking away:

... This smells so good smoking away: ...

I have some apple wood I cut up from a pruned tree, currently letting it dry for a few months, so I was wondering how that would work with bark left on? OK?
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Everything came out great! Thanks for looking.

@addicted-to-smoke the bark came off when I chopped my chunk off. I usually avoid the bark, no reason I just do.

Got a great color:
