Over the last four days I've been pretty lucky to pick up my first kettles. All three of these came from Craigslist.

2005 Gas Assist SS Performer - $100

2004 Smokey Joe Silver w/ 10lb bag of Kingsford - $12

This is destined for my Mini WSM project.

70s/80s Smokey Joe w/ 10lb bag of Kingsford - $10

There are no markings on this one so I guess there's no way to nail down an exact date.

Very nice. That SS Performer looks sweet. The SJ without the stamp on the vent is pre 80's. Just how old it is....wait for Craig or Buckie to get here....but that handle looks damn nice and the grates point towards it being unused.
"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

If I can ever find a tamale pot that fits my lids right I may try making my Mini WSM cook chamber and use it with Ole Smokey since it has three lower vents instead of the one on the SJS.
