If it lights fine via match as u said..take apart ignitor contact wire on the burner tube.  Sand down and clean contacts.wile down and dry..use air compressor if impatient as i would be...reattach and fire her up.

The screw is small ..so dont strip or lose it...it has a big head opening for a small screw ..make sure you use right size bit by fitting or you may strip it...dewalt maxfit bits worked perfectly

When reattaching the contacts ..try to keep you fingers off the contact wire hook..

First time i made this repair..ignitor didnt work..took it apart..sanded down more to more bare metal and then dried and kept fingers off contact hook..2nd try ignitor worked..

Check the orifice (hole) in the end of the hose. Poking this out can be helpful.

All hail 1buckie!!!

Swapped out a regulator and voila!, flame-on first time, every time!

Thanks, man. You saved me from spending another $15, or 50%, on this grill.  8)

Thanks to all for your suggestions.

Besides, what do I know, my only Performer is made out of wood......... :o
