That will get the chimney lot real quick. Did you make the stand for it?

DO WANT
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

Yup! That'll do. I tried a booster idea with my heat gun and some lump. All I got was a fireworks show.

Could you tine how long it takes to light a full chimney...? curious minds want to know

I found this in the bin at work, I think some of the older guys use to use it to boil the billy while for smoko and maybe to cook lunch while out on-site. The base is cast aluminium, the middle section is SS and the top is steel. It's really well made and should be great for lighting a chimney and handy when camping
The thing sounds like a rocket when it's going!!!
I'll try lighting a chimney and time it next cook but until then here's a few more pics

Sorry for the unusual vernacular...this is a Billy can used for boiling water for tea or coffee

Smoko is Aussie slang for morning tea
I hope that clears everything up😃

Hey Hogsy, does the handle tilt down on that contraption?

Might be better to move it out of the flames or eventually it'll crispy the metal (say, 3,000 uses?)
