Mojoe in the 26r
« on: April 27, 2015, 05:16:52 PM »
Figured before I clean her up I'd cook on it. So i put the mojoe in it and cooked a little salmon and asparagus. Had to unlock the one touch since it was all gunked up and wouldn't budge.

Nice!
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch

That meal looks awesome! I guess I had not seen the mojoe before. I'd love to find one for my 26. Looks badass!

Those big black beasts look so bloody cool. Not a big fish fan but I'd try that.

It looks like it sits on the cooking grate of the 26", how does it sit above the rim of the 22"?

Looks great btw!

@austin87  It sits on the rim of the 22. Here's a pick of the bottom side when my dad was fabricating it. The flat bar has notches on the end to sit on the lip.

@Saugust this is made of 1/4" steel. It's a replication of this.

:o $200?! Man, that's crazy. What'd yours cost to fabricate? Did you use the legs when in the 26?

@Saugust , This was just material that my dad had laying around and his time to fab. I'd assume its $50 in material. The griddle was just sitting on the grill grate.

You're right! You can use it for just about everything - even steaks with an amazing crust!
Are you going to make one and post up pictures?
