Love seeing that in the back of your truck. Congratulations Nate.
"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

Nate

Just pulled it out of the truck. Needs some cleaning and some straightening out. Nothing I can't handle. 8)

I think this should work great for my mojoe griddle.

May we ask how much you scored it for? Is that the original ash pan?

@pbe gummi bear  I don't know if it's the original ash pan. I assume so but I don't know what original looks like. And since I've been looking for a long time for a 26r locally, I paid him what he was asking $75. More than what I actually wanted to pay. But oh well. I have one now.

I think you got a great deal! The ashpan looks proportional to it but I can't recall seeing one shaped like that. @G @Craig @Jeff might know

Jeff

That pan looks like its smaller than it should be.  Almost like a 22.  No big deal.  Also, look at the triangle.  It only has 3 support wires instead of 4 like the 26ers have.  I suppose a 22 triangle could be made to work...but never tried it.  Either way...super score!
Kettle collector AND cooker!

Good eye, Jeff. That could be the reason why things look proportional.

That is the correct 90s era 26 ash pan. I have the same pan. As for the triangle, that looks like a four banger that's missing the inner bars... Oh and even better news.... This is the latest (youngest) flat top we've seen. So now we know that Weber still made these up to 1999. Prior to the latest we had seen was a 96 I think. Sweet score and congratulations! That will make a killer cooker!

Nate

@Jeff  I took some additional pics comparing it to my 22s. Maybe it's an oddball 26r???

22" ash pan sitting in the 26".

Here are some measurement comparisons.

The plot thickens.....  8)

Exactly. You know, they had this sitting out at their garage sale yesterday and no one was interested. My gain I guess. A traeger replaced this as their cooker.

Totally OK......75 for an "EE" Flatop Ford Fairlane is right on !!!

Happy 26!!!!
