It really turned out nicely Matt.  Its so bright in the first few photos that I actually squinted.
Hey...show me which can of touch up paint you settled on.   I went through about 9 different yellows before I settled on one for my Ranger work.   I wonder if you have the same enamel I settled on.

And please explain the wood sitting on top of the cooking grate for me.  This is the second time I've seen it.  Why not sure soak them and put them into the coals to burn?  After all...its only a burger you're making.  They cook fast.  Not like you have to worry about the wood burning too fast in the coals.
Kettle collector AND cooker!

I would have bet money that one had small tabs looking at the original photos! Congrats on the score! That's a gorgeous Gourmet! I think I will try the spray into a cup technique when go to touch up my Gardener.

Thanks Craig. Small tabs considered, am I correct in assuming this would be a 71-74'

Thanks Jeff, I used Dupli-Color Engine Enamel "CDE1642 Daytona Yellow" and the match is surprisingly good. I was only filling little hairline chips and nicks so anyone considering using it should always do a test themselves before going crazy with it.

I wish there was some long, scientific explanation for it but it all comes down to me being lazy. lol, you prob saw it in a previous post of mine as well. Normally I stick it down in the coals, but the grill was already heated up so I didn't want to remove the cooking grate just to add the chunks (no gloves handy). Still smokes just fine.
