I have a Q220 that I use occasionally as well as a 12 year old Silver A (two burner propane.) I like the convenience of propane for quick cooks like grilling some vegies or the occasional burger. For longer cooks or something special, like steaks, salmon or shrimp, I'll fire up a charcoal burner.

The other day I did a reverse sear steak. I started it on the Silver A turned way down and had charcoal going for a hot finish.

Now that's flexibility !!!!  Nice Planning !!!!

I have a 2002 Weber Genesis Silver C that I scored on CL for $75.
Replaced the burners, flavorizer bars, and cooking grates with Stainless. It's a great grill now.
I have cooked on it 4 times, tops, in the last 2 years.
But hey, I've got a damn gas grill when I need to cook in a pinch!
I've got Webers. 10 - WSMs, 5 - 22.5" kettles, 2 - 18.5" kettle, 2 - SJS, 2 - SJP, 4 - WGA, 1 vintage Coolie Pan

That's why I'd like to have one. Especially for quick weeknight cooks.

Easy

I have both a S310, & performer. They both have there uses, and can be used at the same time, the gasser is get in the winter time heats up faster for straight cooks, pork chops, steak, fish. Bake potatoas, veggies. the SS cleans up easy it is great.
The performer is completely different I am still learning how it works, on every cook and loving it. Slow smoke is fun & tasty. now I just need to finish out the crowd with a smoker.

Here's what those cheap A$$ gassers are for...  :)  :D  ;D

Of course you couldn't do that to a Weber gasser, just the cheapo broke down piece of craps like I used to have (cause I was always broke)...
22.5" Blue OTG, Black SJ, Lime Green SJ X 2, Brick Red Performer, Outlaw Red 22" daisy wheel, Ivory MT, LE Red MT, Spring Green MT, Slate MT, Smoke MT.

That's the best use of an old gasser I've seen...... Or a new one ;D
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

I've got a Camp Chef 2- burner with 2 boxes that fit over the burner ( lid's on the hanger in back )

And a bitty little Sunbeam small canister that will actually almost close with 2 half pans in !!!

Use them camping mostly, I go a few places where they don't allow charcoal cause there's a lot of people packed in close together & fire's a real concern....

But, ya just can't get stuff like this from a gasser that I know of......
