@SixZeroFour so these will have the old style hood bale?  i'm just noticing that.

I only use kettles with lid bales.

SixZeroFour

They do... and I'm thinking it must come down to safety. The Performer can handle the extra weight hanging off the back thanks to the table, but on a MT I bet the tipping point is too touchy...

That is impressive, Matt!

Please keep us Canucks posted when all of the Euro colours come flooding in to the Great White North.   ;D :D :P ;) ;)
Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

i don't think it's a big deal on the MT with the lid going back.  on the perfs it goes to the side so it's more invasive when open (guessing).  but with the MT they go far enough back to be a non-issue when open, in my opinion anyway.

Would be sweet if you could swap it over!... I will test it out if I get my hands on new bale hardware anytime soon :)

... and handle assembly!

Check out Plasti-dip! Sweet product and you can peel it off if you're ever unhappy with it! (not sure about using on the ash catcher though...)

Use it on car parts all the time :)

Lawrence lost an M/T over backwards at the end of the Napa meetup......waiting to load up & the wind caught it & knocked it clean over......he didn't cry....too much.....

It can happen, not sure if a new or old bale would make any difference............

Wow, what an awesome new look and set of features... I love my old ones, but I would buy new in a heartbeat if I could get this in the European colors here in the US. Maybe if we all email Weber, they'll make it happen... oh yeah, my wife found out today that I've been getting Craigslist alerts on my phone for Weber listings and she just about flipped HER lid. LOL

Matt, any movement with the legs? Radio button type doesn't seem like it would be as wobble-free.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
