Matt, any movement with the legs? Radio button type doesn't seem like it would be as wobble-free.

Not at all, the little clip below actually slides down inside the leg, not the socket, so the fitment is just as tight as before along with the addition of the radio button to keep them from falling out. Such a tiny change with huge impact on usability - real nice touch in my opinion!

We finally got a window in the rain so here are a few more natural light shots. Its odd, in person it feels noticeably bigger, but in photos the kettle portion itself almost looks smaller due to perspective and being so used to seeing the standard height :)

It IS bigger, you silly goose tall person !!!

Bet a nickel it DWARFS a Smoky Joe !!!!

In other news,  is the top handle all one piece?

I mean, can you replace just the rubberized portion, or is that all one piece with the metal uprights?

didn't see if that's been discussed anywhere else?

The top handle comes pre-assembled but is not all one piece, you can work the heat shield off if desired and swap the handle out to a zavod if you want to. Due to the screw placement being on the underside its a bit of a pain to get at while still attached to the lid so it might be faster to just remove the whole handle assembly, then the handle itself.

They include a little plastic wrench tool for tightening the large washer/nuts onto the handle inside the lid. It makes it so that you can't over tighten the bolts and pooch the lid.

Matt, I think your hedgerow is rather famous now in the world of Weber kettles.

I would recognize it anywhere ... so long as there is a kettle in the pic .... Just sayin'.   ;D ;D ;) ;)
Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

Congratulations on your M/T!  Do you have a measurement for the height of the bowl lid from the ground?

Hofy, here's the measurements from the other thread on Brand Spanking New MasterTouches:

"the grilling surface height is 30.5 inches/ 77.47cm, the top rim of the bowl assembled is 32.5 inches/ 82.55cm.  "

;D lol, I have a tiny little backyard so I can't offer much in terms of scenery variety! That's about the best photo I can come up with that doesn't include toys and bikes and other random monkey toys - and those were all kicked out of the way just moment before the shot :D

This glorious box just showed up at the door - A Classic Black real deal North American Master-Touch 8)

I'm told this is the first one that's been given out to the public  :o

Hate to burst your bubble, but I have had my MT since Oct. 14th.

Kinda blows up your 1st one given out theory, huh?  ;)

Used it numerous times already and yes, it is pretty sweet.
