New (to WKC) catalog
« on: September 27, 2014, 03:27:21 PM »
Thanks to a friend of our site, we have obtained screenshots of a previously undocumented Weber catalog. Prior to now, few had only seen a tiny snippet of this catalog on the site but now for the first time, we have the full catalog complete with a the actual catalog year, full price list, and a couple of key facts and changes that were speculation prior to this point. Please join us in our forum Saturday evening 9/27/14 at 9pm Eastern 6pm Pacific for pictures, discussion and best of all, participation. We hope to see you there.

Here's a hint...

I am here and waiting.  The hint looks like 1973 to me.

The hour is upon us.  BTW 1973 is the year of the first electric kettle so that is why I guessed it.

Mr Hoss, I think this helps Identify the Lime as more of a 74/75 as I don't see a limey in this one.
I am not a collector, but I do have a small collection.

Sorry if I didn't mention a name, I tried to tag as many people as I saw in a previous catalog thread that participated and more. If I didn't tag you, your not out, please join in on the discussion. This is the 1974 Weber Catalog and price list. As promised, there's some previously unknown (to us) info on here.  Troy, feel free to fix these so they just pop up here in the thread... As you can see, I'm not the most computer savvy guy on the planet......  ::)

Without further ado....

Ok, thanks @Troy

About this catalog, I got the screenshots/ pdf from a friend of the site. Much appreciated for that. Those with Lime green or "Key Lime" kettles, this is the first catalog to feature that color/finish..... we now know the actual names Weber gave this color..... Check out the Seville for '74... some may recognize (or have) this version.
