replacement Bowl 18" Kettle

1st post to a nice forum.

Just picked up on the side of the road a 18" kettle and am trying to confirm what bowl may fit.

There is a L stamped on the lids vent on the lid

Note it is not one touch and has the 3 lower vents with wooden handles and the patent number is present.

Is there a replacement bowl available for this?

Who has the best pricing for replacement bowls?

Maybe I just don't read/understand well but I am unclear on what you want/have.  If it has 3 lower vents, I assume you have a bowl and if you have the lid vent, I assume you have the lid.

Since I and others here have trouble with words, may I request you take a bunch of pics and post them here?  We are pretty good with pixs

I have been unable to add a pic to my post but the bowl is destroyed and it needs to be replaced.

It has 3 daisy wheels for vents.

Weber switched to One Touch bowls a long time ago.. The replacement price is more than the price of a new kettle. I suggest you save it for a parts donor..
If it was in better shape, it would be worth a salvage.
But old black 3 wheelers can be found for $20 to $30.
New 18's are only $70.
Thanks for trying to do a rescue.. That one looks to be too far gone to save.

OK here's is where I'm at.

Bought a 22 OTS off of Craigslist but still want to revive this 18

Will a Jumbo Joe bowl work with mods.

Bolt the leg sockets on  plug the JJ mounts with bolts and make this a convertible 18 OTG/JJ !

If the bowl doesn't fit..............

JJ takes a different cooking grate than an 18.5", don't know if the 18.5"  cover wiill fit the JJ
