Rack Question
« on: July 31, 2014, 11:49:20 AM »
Got a question. I am picking up some Weber parts this evening and the guy has what is says is an extended grill rack for the 22.5 Kettle that is no longer made. Anyone have any info on this and if so, about what it would be worth? Sorry no pictures as of now. He says it is like a half moon shaped rack that sits on top of the existing rack.

Thanks

Tom

Most likely a warming rack from your description. Grab it!

There's Weber warming rack #3200 which looks like a C and then the older half grate. Either would be a great grab!

Vintage half grate:

New I think the #3200 were $12. Whatever premium you are willing to pay is up to you. They are hard to come by.

Would you pay $20 for it? I reall dont need it but if its something that is hard to find or real useful, I would nab it..

Jeez.. $75 is crazy.

I went ahead and picked it up. I scored it, and a (FINALLY) found a rotisserie for the kettle. Got that for $65. Now I just need to get a Green OTG and I think I have everything I set out to find. (I know..ya right)

Thanks for everyones help. I will post a picture of the rack here in a couple of minutes.

No, that my "Beater" kettle. I actually got that for $15 last week. So in the last week, I have gotten a free performer, another I picked up for $40 that I have to run down to my parents tomorrow and pick up (my Dad went and grabbed it for me) the $15 kettle, the rotisserie, table, and rack. I now have a line on my elusive green OTG..it might be the perfect week for me. ;-)
