Edit >> I stand corrected - secret agent name revised ;) ;D

Recently I've been fortunate enough to score a few in box items and then to top that off I received an amazing parcel that seems to have travelled back in time! Another care pack courtesy of the Honorable Agent ?. Included were an IN BOX! Black MBH, in box charcoal rails, and 2 in box SJ's including one which is still new! Thank you ? - you are the man!

Anyways I thought it was neat to see the transformation of the weber packaging over the years. I'm surely missing some as well but interesting nonetheless!

Hope to get a few more shots of the MBH once cleaned up a bit!

That is really neat to compare, 604!  How long have you been collecting all that Weber stuff?

Here is a GA box that matches your old SJ...

I always thought this box was cool cause there was slots for the handle to pop through.

Is that cutout oem? I thought it was just because the previous owner didn't know to flip the lid before it goes in.

I don't think those would come with the handles attached and the lid would come upside down

I don't know if it's oem or not.  The lid does ship upside down of course.  I got this NIB (but opened) and the cutouts line up perfectly and look professional.  Just seemed unlikely that someone who owned this grill for 35 years and never used it would waste their time perfectly cutting out slots in the box, but I guess it is possible!   ;D

Cheers Idahawk, I think it was a combination of luck and stupidity that got me here but I love every second of it!  From the CL hunt, to meeting the seller, cleaning/Restore - it's all just good clean fun! and I'm not kidding at all when I say BBQ folk are some of the nicest people I've met.

I'd love to come down and meet up with some of you local guys one of these days. I saw the older post about a possible PNW meet but that's a huge drive for me! ... still on my radar thou ;)
