How to clean vinyl covers

What are you doing to keep the fabric undersides of the vinyl covers clean?  Is anyone washing covers?

I used to detail cars and for cleaning outdoor fabrics and convertible tops some soap and water and a medium stiff plastic brush should do the trick. Be careful not to go too hard on printed logos and such or you might scratch them off.
