I posted a few days ago about a Simpsons SJ that was in pretty good shape for $50 on my local CL. Well, I happened to be out and about today since I had the day off and ended up going to a couple thrift stores. What do I find? A Simpsons SJ for $14.79!!! It's in pretty rough shape with a few chips here and there and was missing the charcoal grate, but for that price I couldn't say no. Once it's cleaned up I'll upload some pics. Here's a couple that I took really quick:

Is there any way to get rid of that cartoon. I think it would look good with a wood handle.

Gosh, I really wish there was a way to get rid of it. Upon closer inspection, it looks like it's embedded pretty well into the porcelain enamel. If there was a way to get that off, it would definitely look sweet with a wood handle.
