Newest 18 Pickups

So I had some time to clean up a few of the recent pickups this morning and here they are. The red was acquired from a fella on the east coast after he saw my 18 collection. Big thanks to him, you know who you are!

They limey was from an estate sale. The lady I spoke to said they were taking bids on this one because she couldn't find one that had sold before. I came away with the high bid and picked it up on Saturday. After seeing the grill for the first time I negotiated the price down to 1/2 of my winning bid due to the 2 dime sized chips and a quarter sized chip on the bowl. Slight early crazing on the bowl as well. Worked out pretty well for me. Just need a new handle from Brian to finish the limey off.

Now i'm just awaiting the arrival of 2 beauties that will be here later in the week. Photos to come once they are cleaned up too.

Nice ones Terry. I like the way to took that top shot of the limey - with the vent turned like that. Did you replace the rivets on the red, or did it come to you that way?

Thanks Marty! Only thing that was replaced on the red was the handle. The Limey will have one too. Otherwise, everything is original on the two grills.
