What's the secret to cleaning the Performer table?

This table seems to stain easy. What are you guys using to clean it up?

I've had good luck with 409.  Spray it on, give it a few minutes to set in then wipe it away.

Mr. Clean erasers are the best.

Get rid of the plastic and do the butcher block mod.

I need a cigarette after looking at that and I don't smoke.

I don't have a performer, but my spirit sp-310 has the thermoplastic side table insert which is essentially the same.  The key is to wipe it down after every use so that the grease doesn't build up and get caked on.  I usually hit it with windex w/vinegar or 409 or grease lightning. Magic eraser works wonders too.

pbe,it was all done with a Jigsaw and electric sander. No router was used. The plus over the S/S, is the height advantage. The table was to scale, but made much larger. Plenty of space and easy to clean. Gets to bad, sander will come into use again.

Bumping this. Crumbsnatcher and LightningBoldtz are the winners. Got some of those Magic Erasers and they're incredible for cleaning the new style table. Oh, and agreed. The butcher block is bad a$$. Nice.

Good to hear man!  The key to it all is wiping it down after every use with grease lightning or some sort of degreaser. This keeps buildup to a minimum.
