Can you share some photos of the mounting hardware under your work table? It looks like it might be different from mine..  :)

I snapped a few photos real quick (sorry about the quality). The guy definitely didn't follow the instructions and the wing nuts are both pointed in (the wrong) opposite directions. Also a screw head looks like it was broken off somehow which is a bummer, but at least the table still stands (a bit wobbly, though).

It is a truly awesome grill. It does also have large vent tabs on the bowl. So it is in that crossover period. Historian Craig can shine some light. I get confused on some of the early era...

Thanks for the detail pics. You should be able to get that screw out. Just use a dremel to cut a slot in the head and unscrew it as normal.

Yes, please shine the light, Historian Craig! And I didn't even think of that (a dremel) thank you. Also, on the main vent where it says Bar-b-Kettle, it looks like there is a glare from the light, but in reality the top vent wasn't stamped perfectly so the 'b' in Bar-b-Kettle is nearly invisible.

Were these tables solid wood or veneered?  If solid, what kind of wood?  The metal legs go through the tabletop so that they are height adjustable?

Mine is veneer. Yes, it is adjustable. My bowl attachment is different and has a different tool holder than ones I have seen. Mine is slotted aluminum. It was purchased with my Pat# pending.

How do you adjust the legs and keep the legs in place at the height you want?  With thumb screws?  Very jive table by the way. I hope that one day I will find such a table to add to my collection as well.
