New Weber SMOKE cookbook
« on: September 23, 2012, 12:01:32 PM »
I was at an event at a bookshop this morning, and ran across this book. Published this year - new to me. Had to add it to my collection, (support your local non-chain bookstore!) and my initial read is quite positive.

I don't have that one, but others have been pretty positive. I have a number of Purviances' Weber books, he's got great recipes. I spent last summer working through as many recipes as I could for his Real Grilling book, I'll have to check this one out for next summer ;)

That's a great book.  I made the smoked eggplant and tomato with chickpea salad for some vegetarian friends, and they just about fell over.  It was really tasty and nuanced and with lots of great layers of flavor.

I've had that one for awhile now. Great book...I've made quite a few things from it.

I've cooked some great meals by using that book.
