Cleaned up entire kettle and grates.  Removed and polished lower dampers.  Polished legs.   Sanded and 5 coats of spar varnish on lid handles.  Steel wool on kettle and triangle.   New thumbscrews.  New wheels.

Behold....

Ready for take off....

Interested in ANY offset handle SJs you may have.

Europe calling, here's mine. Bought it one year ago. Didn't have time yet to clean it and to cook on it. However, this year in October the big day is coming. Need to cook for a street festivity and promised to use the RK.

Qr,

I'd seriously advise doing a practice cook first before doing the festival.  Working an RK is a bit different than a regular kettle.

Yep, that's a good one. I will run a test before I cook on it for a bigger group.

Here is the Rancher I gave my father-in-law for his birthday. Brian's walnut handles really made it pop. 50 chicken thighs with plenty of room to spare...

These are really nice! If I ever find the need where I need to do large scale grilling / smoking I would get one in a heartbeat.

I thought this thread might be fun. Check in here if you currently own a Weber kettle with cooking grate larger than 27" diameter.  ;D Please add your pics too. I won't add you until you reply in the thread, except for Brian and his old ranch since I feel he should be #1 on this list.  :)
