Picked it up today. Seller said he bought it "about 5 yrs ago". Sold it because it was hardly used. I figure that won't change with the new owner. 

Pretty good shape overall but not without a little surface bowl rust and crazing.

I feel simultaneously giddy, yet humbled.

Finally. I can join the club. Just got mine tonight. I was too tired after an 8 hr drive from Klamath Falls Oregon to Norcal. All that was gone after I picked up my very own Ranch Kettle. Told my my wife I was picking up another Kettle. I will find out tomorrow morning when she goes in the garage.
Just what AJ said I've been hanging out alot with PBE Gummi Bear alot. The luck rubbed in.

Very cool congrats. I hope I can find one somewhere near NorCal someday. Just seeing the look on my wife's face when she discovers it would make it al worth it!

Picked up this Ranch Kettle last summer and finally got around to giving it a solid deep cleaning. This project took a lot longer than I expected, I have done my share of razor scraping 22's but this was a bitch. Started by totally disassembling, then scraping, scrubbing, touch-up painting,  and finally reassembling with all new stainless steel hardware. It turned out great and looks practically brand new with the Zav wood and Uncle Al whitewalls.
