Piece Pizza
« on: September 08, 2013, 03:21:14 PM »
There is a place in Chicago called Piece Brewery and Pizzeria. Good beer and pizzas if you ever get by. One of their pizzas I had was a mashed potato and jalapeņo pizza. Sounds odd, but I loved it. So, what would any other kettle head try to do.... Of course, make it at home in the kettle. I recruited the kettle pizza attachment and gave it a spin.

It is a white pizza so I just brushed some evo on the dough.

Loaded up the toppings. You have to make the mashed potatoes creamier so they will cook right. I used sour cream to do that.

In we go....

And here it is...

Because it is a white pizza, the trader joes dough just didn't have the flavor I wanted but everything else was awesome. I'll mess with the dough a little more next time, I thought some of you may want to try this. I bet it would be really good with some smoked peppers or smoked jalapeņos.

Thanks for viewing!

Yup I'd take a slice of that! Great idea! That kettle pizza looks awesome.
