Hey guys. Wondering where I can get a set of the 8" og looking wheels everyone is upgrading to put on their performers. Amazon sent me the wrong ones and then another site said they stocked them and no it's 2-3 weeks out. Weber downs have them that I can find. Anyone have a place they know of??

Any pics of the wheels? There's a bunch of Weber knockoff wheels available on Amazon. If it's just the wheel inserts,

there are a few vendors on Etsy that repro them. Here's one of them:

Just looking for the normal ones that come on the regular kettles in 6", but I need them in an 8". Hard to find. Just the white wall Weber ones. I've looked on Etsy and all they seem to have are the inserts. I need the whole wheel.

Over here in the UK they have been discontinued, I tried getting some recently.

I do think the new stealth kettle comes with them though, so I'm sure Weber have stock, but they have grey inserts, which could be popped out and sprayed white if that's of any use

I can't tell... they look like 6", in which case, my bad, I'm used to seeing these modern 22s with 8" wheels

I think I know what you're talking about. We have a WKC member @Evochuck who had an Etsy store: "Chuck's Inserts,"

(which is now closed down), who used to make those whitewall inserts. What it was, is an 8" stock Master Touch wheel

with the full wheel cover, which is then removed and replaced with an 8" "weber" whitewall trim insert. I don't think

he makes those anymore. You can always try to reach out to him. On occasion those original stock standard whitewall

whole Weber wheels in 8" pop up on eBay.

Chucks Inserts also has a Facebook page with better pics. Looks like he hasn't been active much on there this year.

Or do I just have it completely wrong and people are putting the 6" wheels on their performers? Not sure if those make it uneven.   I can find the 6" wheels real easy.

If you're real careful and able to pop the inserts out in one piece, they can be lightly sanded and brought back to life easily enough. They can be very brittle though so be warned! The only way I've done it successfully is pushing the tabs out one at a time from the back with the wheel laying face down on a flat surface, rather than prying the insert off from the front

I have a newer set of wheels that have a different look and style. I'm looking to put the classic ones on if I can find them. An insert wouldn't work for my existing wheels.

Yup, as said above try eBay, just giving advice for if you find a pair with manky inserts
