Argentinian Asado

My wife and I attended a Argentinian Asado (BBQ) in a vineyard this past Saturday.  Everything but the salad was grilled/cooked over/on a open fire pit.  The Chef was originally from Argentina but now operates a restaurant in Santa Cruz.  His empanadas are amazing.  I actually prefer his vegetable empanadas over the beef. My wife was all about the beef.  The pig was cooked for 10 hours on a Argentinian Cross if front of the open oak wood fire pit. It's Monday and I'm still full.............
