Filet for us, sirloin steaks for Beaux's dinners this week.  Started off with baked potatoes on for about an hour, Kellee made a big foil veggie pouch with squash, zucchini and onions on indirect for about 20 minutes and then seared the steaks.  We were going to sear the scallops on CI but the rains chased us in.

Also the garden is going like gangbusters.  We are overrun with cayennes and jalapenos!  So much rain and now the heat is doing its thing.  Last night's pepper haul was pretty fun to pick.

Cheers!

Nice haul of peppers. Will you dry some or pickle some? Love the grilled vegetables. Your pooch eats better than I do with sirloins for the week. It all looks good.

Thanks, we do pickle the jalapenos and hang/dry the cayennes later in the season when they heat up.  Right now the cayennes are pretty mild and wouldn't be worth the effort.  We just eat them with meals while they're easy on the mouth.

Beaux does eat well.... we mix it up - steak some weeks, rotisserie chicken (we cook it - not the store kind) other weeks and always mixed with veggies like green peas, carrots and sweet potatoes, brown rice and of course kibble.  Definitely spoiled!

Great looking plate you have there.  Beaux is one lucky dog ! ! !
