Wheely cool
« on: August 21, 2023, 09:57:32 PM »
Came across a vintage round non Weber grill on marketplace in MI and happened to glance down and realise it’s rolling on 6” wheels that look exactly like the skinny 50s weber wheels.

Seller took some additional photos and measurements and they look identical. Im sure the same wheels would have been used on a fair few things other than grills back in the day.

The seller was awesome enough to remove the wheels and ship them over to me in aus. Just received them yesterday and compared them against the late 50s white wheels I’ve got on the Californian. Identical except the outer rim seemed to be ever so slightly more convex as compared to concave on the late 50s originals. Have discovered they are even earlier and are an exact match to the mid 50s Weber red wheels. Lucky score [emoji119]

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill
