Cedar Planked Meatball Subs on the Warrior

Happy Monday Everybody 

We love meatball subs around our house so I've been thinking of doing this one for awhile now and finally got around to executing. The idea was to cedar plank the meatballs for smoking so that I could just add the cheese etc right onto the plank and then serve directly from plank to bun. I also busted out the old CI to thicken up the Homemade BBQ Sauce/Sweet Baby Rays/Ketchup mixture. The meatballs picked up a surprising amount of flavor from the cedar and the sauce was just the right thickness for a sub... 

We were extremely happy with the results! Highly recommended as these were my best subs to date for sure. Loads of flavor. Definitely being added into regular rotation!

Grate idea with the cedar plank and homemade bbq sauce. We love meatball subs too and use marinara and mozzarella cheese. We'll have to try this!
