Maybe I’ve been buying cheap, neglected kettles for too long, but Genesis now starts at just shy of $900.  Wowza.  I still recall thinking I broke the bank in 2003 when I bought my first and only (to this day) new Genesis for $400.

I see nothing with either model that will have me
racing out to spend a lot of $$$, but I hope others
feel differently.  Weber's stock value continues to
fall and may drop below $10 soon.

They had a strong sales year but they’ve got a good deal of debt.  The stock still rated a buy.   

Interesting that Traiger is doing similarly since IPO.

Webers warranty page has been updated for the New Genesis. Not as good as a bumper-to-bumper 10 year warranty, imo, since the cart only gets 5 years.
Also, it appears there’s no new name for this series, ie- Genesis Tech, Genesis 3, etc.

Wow, pricey!  These Genesis models will continue to take care of my gasser needs.  Plus I like red….
