I'd make the drive to join in on that biscuit feast
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Thanks. The first Dutch oven cook was the best stew I had ever made and the next morning was biscuits and gravy.  It’s kind of hard to tell from the pictures.

That was back to back dinner and breakfast carbs lol. Last night we went back to low carb with the steak and veggies.

Awesome cooks!  Dutch oven cooking looks really fun - a chicken pot pie would be great that way I'll bet.

Yeah I’ll have to try that. A friend brought the Dutch oven over for me to try out. Neither one of us have ever used one. It’s pretty intuitive if you know your way around charcoal.  I was surprised how easy and good everything turned out.

Yeah I really enjoy cooking in cast iron. Inside and outside.

Love that setup for the dutch oven!

The kettles are mine. The Dutch oven and accessories are on loan from a friend. The oven is setting on a 3/16” thick stainless steel plate with holes drilled in it. It came with my buddies lime mbh he found. It was made by the previous owner to go under the charcoal grate to catch ash. Kind of a different take on an internal ash pan. It’s actually concave so it rocked a little bit on the cooking grate while I used it but still worked well.
