He is a collector as well so I know he's willing to work with you if you want to do trades as well.

Can anyone share what he charges to do these cookers?

Thanks,

Robert
I got a quote from him last year, but didn't pull the trigger for the price.  He told me that if the grill was brand new and didn't require sandblasting the surface a GA would be $200 plus shipping both ways.  A brand new 22" would be $350 plus shipping both ways.  Not cheap, but they sure do look nice.  These prices were just for exterior, no interior customization.

Thanks.  I might give him a call. I have a couple of grills that I would like to be red.

I know the yellow and red colors enameled by IPE turn color when hot just like the original colors from Weber do.

I really wanna see what IPE can do with a Ranch Kettle. I'd gladly try to do that myself, but right now I don't have the funds to ship one of those monsters halfway across the country and back, much less pay for the enamel job lol.
I think I might need a bigger backyard soon...

I just picked up a red n code 22. Looks like it's crazing. What would be an estimate on restoring the kettle? Purchased for $25.

I was quoted 250 for a Smokey Joe last week. I saw someone post prices for kettles they had done about a year ago but It seems they have gone up.

Dave in KC

I stopped in at IPE yesterday to pick up my latest frivolous keeper (to be revealed later)
and Jeff has a couple of recent works that he would part with if anyone is interested.

$795 for the 26er, $595 for the 14" WSM.

Damn, they are gorgeous.

where is this shop located? The only grill I want to add to my collection is the meat cut grill. Even he does custom orders.....I may have to start saving for one of my old black kettles to get a facelift.

Original bowl and they did an awesome job matching color scheme for the lid.  Original on the right.
