Ranch action

I did the fall cleanup on the Ranch earlier this evening.  It’s amazing how much ash the lower bowl can hold.



I don’t know if that’s it for the season for the Ranch but I do have some vacation time coming up and I’m hoping to use it once or twice more before the weather goes.

Here are some pictures from a couple of cooks over the summer.  One of my favourite things to make on it surprisingly is lasagna:









I also cooked a big load of chicken thigh quarters for some friends.  One of them was staying with me while he was going through a breakup so I hoped some barbecue with friends would help cheer him up and we fired up the Ranch for a few of those.
