Dehumidifier recall, housefires!

Below is a link to the NPR article covering this massive recall. There are other ways to get this info if you are not a fan of NPR, but this is not a political topic so it'll be ok;). They do a good job of providing the info and links needed to identify the 2,000,000+ units that are affected.

It's not just the one in the picture, many brands and models are included, if you bought one after 2009, there's a decent chance it's on the list.

Our whirlpool model was on the list, and I returned it to Costco today after having it for 4 years, for a full refund, no receipt needed.
