2 zone fire vent placement
« on: June 16, 2021, 04:58:20 PM »
I picked up a couple of Cornish hens to cook tomorrow and wanted to use 2 charcoal baskets on each side of the kettle so I don’t have to turn them/ get crispier skin, but I’ve never done it before and don’t know where to place the lid vent. Any suggestions? Does it really matter? Thanks.

Probably doesn't matter.  But if you want to be sure and your baskets are set East/West, then put your vent North for 1/2 the cook and South for the other 1/2.
