Any recommendations for a grill brush that won't remove the carbon seasoning on cast iron?

This is what I use, as I don't use anything metal to clean my CI grates:

Once there's a good patina on your grates, just burn off the excess, but I still take them to the sink every now and then and hit them with dawn soap and one of these brushes, only when they are cool, of course.
Happiness is found under the lid of a charcoal grill.
