Food

Several cooks over the last few days! Poppers and wings on super bowl Sunday. They were great. Carnitas on Monday. I was pleased as it was my first attempt at Q'd carnitas. Today I whipped up some beef bourguignon with the last of the brisket leftovers in the freezer.
It's a rough life gentleman...

Can't wait to pour through all your  posts from SB Sunday

Cheers!

Haha, totally. I was going to purchase one but I've talked to a few other kettle owners who reported that parts of their kettles melted!

I'm fine with Mt. Charcoal

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Nice spread there!  Wings and poppers look exceptional.  Life is good, especially when you can grill on your Weber a few days in a row!

Looks great!  I love poppers they just don’t love me.

In my opinion the vortex does not get hotter than the same amount of coal concentrated in an area of the grill. Either two normal baskets or other wise, BUT the vortex shape is nice because I can fit more wings around it than two baskets or other methods and that’s nice.

Ok, that's maybe all I needed to hear...I'll buy one. I don't have enough cooking/kettle accessories already haha[emoji849]

I don't use mine as much as I used to. But I never melted any grill parts...Cooked the finish off a couple of cooking grates though...
