Beautiful work - that frame will paint up very nicely like it was brand new.  Digging the black ash pan too.

Unfortunately, this project is on extended hold, as I can't commit the time to finish it properly.

Those are awesome! I have a SJ San Diego Chargers that I aquired with rusted legs that I might just use in something like this. Thanks Bob BQ!

Personally, I wouldn't use the Chargers SJ. If it's in good shape, I would replace the legs and keep it as is. Get a cheap SJ of craigslist with good legs, and use it instead.
