Missed firing up the grill this weekend in order to redo our deck.

Added some framing in order to accommodate the fire pit and extended framing to fill in the gap around our door.

All and all we are happy with how it turned out. But boy am I sore [emoji854]

Very impressed, and I know you are tired
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

You were busy this weekend, nice deck rehab.

Will you stain and seal the deck?

Thanks.

Yea we will let it weather awhile and then stain and seal it. We are leaning towards a greyish stain as of now.

Very nice!  Hard work I know, but very rewarding.  I replaced our deck floor (again, been here 14 years) earlier this summer.  Need some dry weather so we can stain.....

Thank you.

Yours looks good! I'm guessing we won't be staining until spring up here in PA.

I know that scrap pile [emoji854] still have ours beside the house.  Should be doing a landfill run this coming weekend I hope.

Some work was done into the evening using a head lamp. That was interesting. No sawing though [emoji854] just drill and rocks.
