That is a good question I was wondering that myself. But just got off the phone with Weber they had 71 available and I was able to purchase one. That’s the 3rd time i called first hold time 40min 2 hold time 35min. This time was only 15 and they answered [emoji1374]

The history page they put up about the Glen Blue claims it is “applied by hand at our factory in Huntley, Illinois...”

I called Weber customer service and the person I spoke with said they would have in stock soon. I was able to get one this afternoon after checking all day on the website.

Update: they came back in stock and I ordered one 🤦‍♂️[emoji41]

It took everything in me not to order one. I felt such relief when I checked back and it said Currently Unavailable. Still want one, but just not in the cards for me at the moment.

I almost considered pulling a prank and saying I got my shipping notification that it would be here Monday.  I wonder how many of us would have been frantically checking our e-mail? Haha.

I did get an order in on day one though.  If by some chance no one has beat me to it I will try to get it assembled on the day of arrival for photo time.

Weber does a great job of selling the kettle by making it available and then making it unavailable and then start the process all over again.
Some people will buy it period. But for others that are on the fence and not sure this unknown gets them motivated enough to buy it now. Weber’s smart.

That’s exactly what happened to me. I was on the fence and then relieved when it said “currently unavailable.” Then I checked back again last night around 8 PM and they said “available” so I decided what the heck?!
