Hey All,

Just got married and my father-in-law gifted me his 22" EZ. It's my first but my roommate from before marriage cooked 80% of his meals on his kettle and he shared pretty often so I'm excited to get going on mine. I went to wipe it off today and kind of prep it for restoration and I found the bowl dampers were completely rusted and stuck. I tapped a couple with a rubber mallet and one completely broke out so I have a little work ahead of me. I haven't been part of a forum since high school so I'm excited to jump in.

I swear, when I score a great deal on a 26" I'll stop buying grills... So often.

Welcome, there are a lot of people that can help with your vents that have replaced them themselves

I actually did fix them. And then I found this beauty on FB and wanted to get something with color and the one touch ash sweep so I swapped the handles and sold the other one.
