Dumpster find
« on: July 10, 2020, 01:45:49 PM »
Found a 2013 performer in a dumpster and had to rescue it. It is very rough but I do not care. No ash pan or ring to hold the pan, one touch system rusted away with all the grates and the kettle dented so bad that the lid will not fit on.  Missing front support between the side pieces and no wire shelve, and a large crack and chip in resin table top. Pulled the dent out with the ad of a 2X4 cut to shape and a bar clamp, cleaned the lid and kettle and the thing looks almost brand new. My question is has anyone ever tried to repair a large crack in the resin table with any luck ( the crack is at least 12" long). Any ideas or information would be a big help, Thanks
