How long will pork last in the fridge?
« on: July 06, 2020, 04:13:39 PM »
I smoked a pork but yesterday and vacuum sealed 3 small and 1 large bags. Small ones are in the freezer and large bag is for the cabin this week, most likely eating it Thursday or Friday night. Can i leave it in the fridge till then vacuum sealed or should I freeze it right now till we're ready to eat?

I’m paranoid so I say toss it in the freezer then the night before you want to eat it just put it in the fridge to defrost.

Fridge it for up to a week if sealed while hot.

You could leave it if it were in the fridge. What about the travel to the cabin? Will it be in a cooler? Freeze it and let it be part of your ice.
