Texan getting new Performer

Hi!!! I am a natural born South Texan. I've been smoking Texas Style briskets for about 40 years now.  It's amazing how there is always something new to learn!

I am disabled and in a wheelchair. This is causing me to have to change my technique. I can no longer lift a heavy lid, so I have decided to get a Weber Performer. The slide off lid is what sold me on the unit.

There is one problem....You can't get them ANYWHERE. Anybody have any idea on when these units will be available?

I'm looking forward to learning from you wise folks!!

Hi, welcome from Detroit Michigan! Regarding your question, you can purchase them on Weber.com, Home Depot’s and Lowe’s website and they’ll ship it right to your house.  I recently purchased my slate blue performer deluxe from crate & barrels site. Same price as the other stores but in a cool color you can only find there. Hope this helps.
