Anybody Using B&B Char-Logs
« on: June 15, 2020, 03:34:41 PM »
I was at Ace Hardware and ran into a 30 lb bag of B&B Char-Logs for less than $20.  It appears to be reformed Lump.  They claim no additives or binders so I am not exactly sure what it is yet.  I came home with a bag.  In a perfect world this will be kind of like lump with a briquette count.  These are like little logs with a hole down the middle.

I will burn some tomorrow and see what they act like.

Anybody try them?

I have a bag, and used it in a Kamado for a 10 hour cook.  A Kamado has a charcoal basket that allows the logs to stack up  better than a kettle IMHO.  I look forward to hearing how it works for you.
