The Grill Guy
« on: June 04, 2020, 06:18:01 AM »
Apparently I am the "grill guy" with my riding buddies. At the end of every ride we end up at one of our houses and I end up in front of the grill with tongs.

I don't mind,  and it is interesting to try and work with other people's grills, tools, and ingredients. I have had to think on my feet to try and compensate for inadequate conditions. After all I am ultimately responsible for the done-ness of the food.

So far I have had great luck and nothing but praises. I attached an example.

Is anyone else in this predicament with friends or family? Any disaster stories or successes?

I think it happens to many of us! Sometimes I'll keep essential bbq tools, chimney, and charcoal in the car so I'm better prepared for unexpected cooking.

Lol @pbe gummi bear that's dedication. I usually make my buddy use his own grill when I go there. If you want me to cook, come to my house
