Hello everyone,

I am new to the site and currently working on a Genesis 1000 black. Pictures and write up to follow. Today I was taking the cart apart and broke a screw off for the front lower cross bar. When the bolt would not turn, I should not have tried to go hulk on it.

Now I need to replace the part that goes into the tube and allows the bolt to thread in and secure it. Anyone know what that part is called and where I can get one?

The rest of the project is going well and getting close to assembly.

Excited to be part of this board.

Star nuts.  Search on this board and you will find info on them.  Lots of Weber SSP restorations use the same part

I like my Kettles like my coffee....strong and black.
