Woodard / Weber Cart Restore
« on: March 19, 2020, 12:20:58 PM »
I had a complete write up of this that was probably in the vicinity of TMI and hit post and locked up my laptop......SO without too many details some of you may remember me picking this up in early February.  It's now complete!  Red bowl with one drain hole will be for iced beverages.  My 18" Easterner that I just restored will also fit if I want to go to the trouble of taking the legs off and fashioning an ash pan underneath which I might do just to see how it looks.  But I now have these nice shiny legs and NEW ash pan (thanks to some very cool members of this group) on the 18 which look amazing....  Bought the cutting board on Amazon.  Still looking for replacement tires - ordered some today and received a crushing call that they are no longer available.

On to the pics!  Feel free to ask questions......

And some after shots..... there was some question about whether or not this is a genuine Weber bowl..... I think it is due to the grate shelves size and positioning.  I put my new KG grates in it to check fit and they fit perfectly so.....  comments welcome!

That looks great!!  It’s been fun watching your Weberitis develop.  Keep it up!

That's pretty amazing - sure looks like a Weber bowl but no bottom vents!
Wife: Let me guess... you want to grill again
