I'm not really new to Webers....but this is my first larger one, have always had the little smokey Joe. I finally made the jump to something larger. I picked up a crimson 22 deluxe, so far I'm really happy with it. I have been cooking and smoking for many of years. I have owned charcoal, gas and pellet grills. I have come to find out I can cook pretty much anything on a Weber kettle that I cooked on all those others. I had a big green egg...the mini ....loved it but just not enough room. And at $$$$ they want for it just didnt make sense. So I sold it, sticking with my Weber.....at a fraction of the cost

Welcome from Highland Park, Illinois! I used to go to summer camp in Arcadia, MI when I was in junior high and high school. A few years ago, over the course of an extended summer weekend, the wife and I did a driving trip up M22 through Arcadia, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, up to Northport and then down to Traverse City. Had a blast taking our time, enjoying the sun and stopping whenever we wanted to enjoy some local fare/beers. You chose wisely with the 22, and you're gonna love this group.
